Travel with kids ranks up there among mama headaches, which is why we’re pumped about a new toy collection from an airline going the extra mile to spoil our bubs on board!

Emirates is giving us mamas yet another reason to love travelling with them with the launch of their new toy collection – the Fly with Me animals and activity bags!

Tiny tykes will get to cuddle with stuffed animals representing specific regions around the world – Lewis the Lion from Africa, Peek U the Panda from China, Enrico the Monkey from Latin America and Leila the Camel from the Middle East.

Toys will each be available as a ‘Travel Buddy’ that can be hung from the car, pram or cot, as a ‘Carry Buddy’ which is a dual purpose toy and blanket, or as the ‘Magnetic Sketcher’ for the more creative tots. Four new animals will debut every six months, just in time for your next holiday, mama!

Not forgetting older kids, Emirates partnered with travel guide book publisher Lonely Planet to create activity bags to keep 6-12 year olds entertained on long flights. They will be available as two specially designed retro-style rucksacks and two cool bags. The bags – which include fold-out world maps, travel journals, plastic drink bottles and cards with world facts – will be updated every year to keep things fresh!

You’d think Emirates would have called it a day with the toys, but there’s more! They’re also launching junior-friendly greeting cards, updated kids’ meal trays and new photo cards for the cabin crew to help you capture special moments with an instant Polaroid camera. Don’t forget that all this is in addition to existing fam-centric services, like their dedicated family check-in areas, play areas on the plane and specially designed children’s headphones!

Now, if only Emirates could sort out nappy changes in those eensy-weensy cubby holes, er, toilets!
