There are a number of reasons why mamas have C-sections, yet there’s still a lack of open discussion about C-sections in birth preparation classes and the stigma attached doesn’t help those mentally preparing for an elective C-section. Because of this lack of openness, some may be left feeling like they have failed if they end up having an emergency C-section. But that's simply not true!⁠

After Jurong Bird Park's closure, we've been impatiently anticipating its reopening in Mandai with a new name – and now we have an opening date! Jurong Bird Park is now Bird Paradise, and will open for its soft launch on 8 May 2023. Look forward to visiting the world’s largest population of Hornbills under human care, many of them flying free in some of the eight large walk-through aviaries, and more. There are also not one but TWO anchor play areas for kids inspired by a native Singapore species. The Pangolin Adventure and Pangolin Hideout playgrounds will encourage kids to climb, burrow and slide down the play areas!
