Our fave new Parisian tea room and patisserie has plenty of Valentine’s Day goodness coming your way (and what city screams romance more than Paris?). The specially crafted menu starts with an amuse bouche of beetroot and feta ravioli with herring caviar, or nibbles like jamon Bellota and rock melon and avocado soup with Hokkaido scallop ceviche. Move onto starters such as white onion soup with truffle oil and choice of main like the beef pot au Feu, and you’ve got yourself a tres chic meal for an intimate night out with your main squeeze. Spoil yourself even more with Angelina’s beautifully packaged limited edition chocolates!

Bedrock Bar & Grill
Appropriately dark and elegant, Bedrock is a must if you’re craving a succulent steak to share in an intimate setting. Indulge in one of two set menus to get the night started — the ‘Two is Better than One’ serving up a double sirloin steak and sides, and the ‘Partners in Crime’ with beef short ribs, lobster tail and sides.

Balzac Brasserie valentines roundup 2016

Balzac Brasserie
Treat your other half with a memorable dinner at Balzac Brasserie’s exclusive new location at the Fort Canning Arts Centre. Chef Jean Charles Dubois has designed gorgeous set lunch and dinner menus for Valentine’s Day packed full of rich flavours, such as the fois gras with puree of Jerusalem artichoke and truffle vinaigrette, Maine lobster, French pigeon royale and roasted pineapple with coconut emulsion and vanilla ice cream.

Take Valentine’s Day to the next level with an indulgent 5-course set menu at CUT, with starters like Hokkaido scallop carpaccio and mains of U.S.D.A. Prime and Australian Angus steak. They even have a delicious dessert plate to share — you can’t go wrong with chocolate souffle, creme fraiche cream and Gianduja ice cream!

Nicolas Le Restaurant
Nicolas Le Restaurant never ceases to amaze with its ever-evolving tasting menus and Valentine’s Day is no exception! Featuring such delights as Provence style raviolo, New Zealand langoustine and Atlantic sea cod fish, prepare yourself for a mouth-watering menu lovingly created by Nicolas himself for you and your partner to truly indulge in an intimate shophouse setting.

Catalunya valentines roundup 2016

Attention cheese lovers! Catalunya is putting a Spanish-twist on Valentine’s Day with an enticing share platter featuring cheeses from the five regions of Spain – we’re talking manchego, mahon, torta del cesar, murcia al vino and idiazabel – and three Spanish wines of verdejo, tempranillo and predro ximenez grapes.

Gattopardo Ristorante di Mare
We love a family-minded restaurant like Gattopardo which is offering two very different Valentine’s Day experiences – bring along the kiddos to its family-style Valentine Sunday brunch, or leave the bubs at home for a more intimate 6-course tasting menu highlighting some of Gattopardo’s 2016 signature dishes. How thoughtful!

Goodwood Park Hotel
Boasting top quality cuisine served in its famously beautiful surrounds, the grand and stately Goodwood Park Hotel is an ideal setting to celebrate romance. Both Gordon Grill with its refined continental cuisine and L’Espresso offering elegant English Afternoon Tea set in a pretty alfresco area by the pool, will offer special Valentine’s Day set dinners.

Share an intimate evening with your love as you partake in The Halia’s Valentine’s Day set menu at its iconic Raffles Hotel location or amidst the lush greenery of its Botanic Gardens abode. Either way, you’re sure to be impressed by The Halia’s generous sharing menu including oysters, lobster tail, Wagyu beef and, interestingly, a dessert of chocolate and flowers (you’ll get to literally sample pollen and violet!)

Grab your man or your fave ladies; Jamie’s is putting on a love day set menu filled with familiar Italian comfort foods like brushchetta, tagliatelle and profiteroles in chocolate sauce. Wash it all down with a digestif of limoncello, amaretto or sambuca…when in Rome, after all!
