The Singapore Oceanarium’s ‘Ocean Dreams’ glamping experience is back! Read about the unique overnight stay at the former S.E.A. Aquarium, and find out more about its 22 zones from shallow waters to the deep sea, and prehistoric oceans to today’s waters.

We were sad to see S.E.A. Aquarium go when our favourite aquarium closed its doors on 30 April 2025. But it wasn’t goodbye forever! In its place is the all-new Singapore Oceanarium, which is three times bigger than its predecessor. With 22 zones to explore, families can look forward to some great new additions at the Singapore Oceanarium. We’re plenty excited about the prehistoric underwater world, the massive collection of sea jellies, the new walking net and its many new interactive elements. Now, they’ve relaunched the ‘Ocean Dreams’, a glamping experience with exclusive guided tours and behind-the-scenes access. Read on to find out what to expect at the Singapore Oceanarium:

The 2D1N ‘Ocean Dreams’ experience is back at the Singapore Oceanarium for four weekends only! That’s right–you can stay overnight at the Singapore Oceanarium, in a glamping tent set right by the Open Ocean Habitat where you can gaze at manta rays and huge fish gliding by all night. They’ve kitted out each tent to ensure everyone has a comfy stay: think air-conditioning, ambient lighting, plush bedding and even power outlets for your devices. It includes a dinner and breakfast buffet, plus a snack basket to keep you fueled throughout the stay.

Unique glamping experience aside, ‘Ocean Dreams’ also includes exclusive guided tours and behind-the-scenes access. Get an in-depth view of some of the oceanarium’s newest zones, and check out areas that are not open to the public, such as the Aquarist Lab, Feed Preparation Room, Coral Fragment Room and Open Ocean Habitat support area. You can also witness animal feeding sessions up close, and bring home cute mementos such as animal badges, an amenities pouch, printed photos and more. Bringing the kids along? They’ll absolutely love the dedicated kids’ activity corner that includes storybooks, marine-themed board games, a badge-making actiivity and colouring sheets!

We absolutely loved spending the weekends at S.E.A. Aquarium with its amazing floor-to-ceiling aquariums in 10 zones filled with colourful marine life and educational snippets. As part of Resorts World Sentosa’s (RWS) 2.0 expansion plan, S.E.A. Aquarium has been rebranded and revamped into the Singapore Oceanarium.

The Singapore Oceanarium is now three times larger than its predecessor, with 22 zones that allow visitors to connect with the marine world. You can look forward to experiencing everything from life in the shallow waters to the deep sea, and get a peek into ocean life during prehistoric times, all the way to marine life as it is today!

Here are some of the highlights of the zones at Singapore Oceanarium:

Ocean Wonders: We love how mesmerising sea jellies can be, and now you’re about to be wowed at one of the largest kreisel habitats in the world. The kreisels will house thousands of moon jellies!

Singapore’s Coast: A tribute to our nation’s very own vibrant biodiversity, this zone features a mangrove-inspired landscape and interactive habitats that kids will love.

Ancient Waters and Conquering Land: Bring your dinosaur-loving kiddos to this new dinosaur attraction in Singapore, featuring prehistoric ocean animals and living fossils. There’ll be life-sized animatronics and replicas of majestic ancient creatures.

Migrators: This zone highlights the open waters and its vibrant ecosystems.

Whale Fall and Sea Mount: Families can learn all about marine protection initiatives and successful efforts that’ve taken place.

Hallway of Hope: An educational experience where kids can learn how they can play their part in protecting and cherishing the world’s oceans.

Spirit of Exploration: This zone will look familiar to those who’ve visited the Maritime Experiential Museum & Aquarium at S.E.A. Aquarium. The Jewel of Muscat is still there for families to explore the ninth-century Arabian dhow.
