Aqua Adventure water centre at HomeTeamNS Bedok Reservoir is not just for HomeTeamNS members – anyone can visit this fun indoor water park with a ‘laze pool‘ and water slides galore! Aqua Adventure features Singapore’s longest indoor waterslide at 114 meters long plus there’s an 85-metre black hole tube slide, climbing activities, an elevated challenge and a net obstacle arena!

Guide to Aqua Adventure at HomeTeamNS Bedok Reservoir

Aqua Adventure is by the same peeps behind Adventure HQ (one of our fave indoor ‘playgrounds’ with obstacle courses and rock climbing for older kids and teens) and has a mix of wet and dry activities, including an indoor aquatic challenge rope course and climbing walls. For those who just want to relax, there’s a small pool below the water slide to chill in. Let’s take a look at what’s in store at Aqua Adventure.

Highlights at Aqua Adventure at HomeTeamNS Bedok Reservoir

Two main water slides:

1. Double Trouble Aqua Tube

The most thrilling water slide at Aqua Adventure has to be the Double Trouble Aqua Tube. This green-coloured water slide is great for buddies to zoom down together (you’ll need that plus one to keep you brave!)! Sit on a double ring and off you go down the 114-metre-long water slide – Singapore’s longest indoor water slide!

2. Black Hole Aqua Tube

The other slide at Aqua Adventure is the red slide. It’s called the Black Hole tube slide but it wasn’t as pitch black as the Double Trouble (some natural light comes through the lighter parts of the red slide). This slide is 85 metres long – you just sit in the slide no tube rings required and off you go!

3. Laze Pool at Aqua Adventure

Need somewhere to chill? Stick to the ‘laze pool’ – this is the small pool around the water slides. There should be some intermittent games organised by Aqua Adventure staff here. It’s not a big enough pool to properly swim in so just relax and watch the action.

4. Aqua Course

The other activities at Aqua Adventure are outside the main pool and slide area. The Aqua Course is an elevated water obstacle course where you are strapped in with safety harnesses and have to navigate across balancing beams that are sky-high – reminiscent of the elevated obstacle course at Adventure HQ and X-SCAPE8 (but with the added challenge of water spraying down!).

5. Climbing activities and a net obstacle arena

Other dry activities within Aqua Adventure include the Scramble Net where you can navigate a large net and climb through net tunnels. Next to it is the climbing wall called Clockwork Towers – there are 5 lanes suitable for all ages, plus it has an auto belay system so those new to rock climbing feel safe.

What to Wear at Aqua Adventure

You are not allowed to wear your usual swimming gear – no two-piece bikinis, no swimming trunks (the tight-fitting ones) no clothing with exposed zippers, buckles, rivets, or metal ornamentation are not recommended. You can wear a one piece swimsuit but only with board shorts. Permitted attire includes dri-fit-shirts, sports bras, board/swim shorts, short or long tights, rash guards, and burkinis.

Entry Requirements for Aqua Adventure:

There is no age requirement for Aqua Adventure. However, children under 12 years old are required to have adult supervision in the pool. There is a minimum height requirement of 1.25 metres, a minimum weight of 30 kg and a maximum weight of 120kg.

Tips:
– There are lockers available.
– Bring your own towels (none available) and shower products.
– When we were there we had to be weighed before going on the slides so this could cause queues as there are only two slides to go on. If the queues for the slides are long try some of the climbing activities or dry challenges instead.

Review of Aqua Adventure:
Our kids had lots of fun zooming down the slides. The favourite was the Double Trouble water slide. If you are a massive thrill-seeker know that the speed of these slides is mid-range – nothing too scary which means it’s great for younger kids and tweens though teens and adults may find them a little tame. We did love how this water park is all sheltered so there is no risk of sunburns. Because Aqua Adventure is very compact it would also make a good spot for a kids’ party – unlike some water parks when kids run off in all directions, at this water park it’s harder to lose kids – sigh of relief! If you are planning a birthday party do check out their birthday rooms to hire!
