PasarBella Opening Soon in Bukit Timah!

You would have to have been living under a rock to not have heard the exciting news about a farmer’s market opening at The Grandstand (previous Turf City) in Bukit Timah. We were initially promised a March 2013 opening date for PasarBella, which has now been updated to an optimistic-sounding “Spring 2013” on their Facebook page. When we visited the actual site last week, some businesses are trading already, but the vast majority are still totally shrouded, and a nosy peek behind the scenes led us to believe that full opening isn’t exactly imminent (with some stalls looking like they haven’t even been started yet). So what do we know so far about what will be at PasarBella, and what’s open already? Here’s the full list of tenants!

While there has been a bit of grumbling about the fact that there are some bigger name brands among the tenants, rather than just purely farmers and artisans like expected, we’re excited by the range on offer and are excited to get our shop on.
