At Tanglin Trust School, learning extends beyond the classroom. Here, students as young as infants choose from over 400 CCAs across creative, sporting, academic enrichment and more!
If you asked us about our fondest school memories, it wouldn’t be worksheets or class tests. It would be the co-curricular activities (CCAs)! From cheering at a friend’s football match after school, learning a new dance routine in the contemporary dance club or picking up a new instrument in a band, CCAs are often the highlight of the school day. Plus, they take learning beyond the classroom, where kids get to explore their interests and develop lifelong skills. If you’re looking for a holistic international school with plenty of CCA options for your child to choose from, here’s why Tanglin Trust School should be on your radar. And when we say plenty, we mean over 400 CCAs!
Wide range of CCAs to choose from

Yes, you read that right. Here, students can choose from over 400 CCAs! Activities range from outdoor education to service learning, dance and debate. With 96% participation across Infants, Juniors and Seniors, students get to dive right into their passions and hobbies. In fact, students join an average of four clubs each! CCAs are also integrated into the school day, making it easier for students to participate.
At Tanglin Trust, even Infants have access to a wide range of age-appropriate CCAs that help them explore new interests and develop fundamental skills, including woodworking, climbing, ukulele classes and Chinese cooking. As students grow, the options expand further, with many offering unique experiences to travel in the region and beyond. Opportunities include music tours to Spain, touch rugby tournaments in Australia, and a full outdoor education programme – further reflecting Tanglin’s holistic approach that takes learning beyond the classroom.
Junior School CCAs, such as horse riding, sailing, music ensemble performances for all abilities and instruments, including the new CCA Breakfast Master Chef, give students a chance to take on more challenges and gain independence. While CCAs for Senior students provide ways for students to shine outside the classroom while still enhancing their education. Two CCAs which encourage academic stretch are Tanglin’s Model United Nations, which lets students dive into international relations through research, debate, and negotiation, and the World Scholars Cup.

Tanglin recently hosted TMUN25, a student-led Model United Nations conference that welcomed more than 500 delegates from 20 schools across Singapore and Malaysia. Over three days, participants engaged in rigorous debate, collaborative problem-solving and diplomacy where they practise public speaking, problem-solving and collaboration.
Notably, in 2025, the Tanglin STEM Racing team competed in the National STEM Racing competition, with the Nebula Team finishing second place and advancing to the 2026 World Finals! Tanglin also boasts over 160 teams participating in 17 different sports, giving students a wealth of opportunities to compete locally and internationally.
Unique experiences beyond the classrooms
With so many CCA options, you can expect activities that you might not find at other schools. Offerings include Golf, Digital Content for Sports, and the Exploration Society, Tanglin’s very own outdoor adventure programme, which helps prepare students for the Year 9 five-week Highlands Programme in Australia as well as the Duke of Edinburgh. So if you’re looking for an international school that values the co-curricular programme as an integral part of school life, then explore Tanglin further here.
