Offering an elevated learning experience to young learners from 18 months to 6 years of age, the purpose-built, state-of-the-art space just for little ones features truly world-class facilities including:
- 6 gorgeous outdoor discovery spaces, including a cool pirate ship-inspired wooden playground to spark imagination and play
- Classrooms with dedicated discovery spaces tailored to the different grade levels
- A multi-purpose gym, “The Hive”, with specialist PE classes just for little ones
- A 20m swimming pool with varying depths to help new swimmers
- A parent café for parents to hang out while waiting for their little ones and a parent help desk to assist with any parent-related inquiries
Stamford American’s Reggio-Emilia-inspired Early Learning Village was built in consultation with early years architectural experts, resulting in an exceptional space for sensorial learning at every turn. Seriously mamas, each and every detail of this amazing new space was designed to ensure children will be happy, engaged and learning!
Besides the first class facilities, Stamford American’s Early Years innovative curriculum incorporates learning experiences that are larger than life, such as the world-renowned Suzuki Violin Program available to children from the age of 3. Based on research that playing stringed instruments improves concentration, not to mention the Suzuki philosophy of encouragement, listening, and learning with others, Stamford is also the first school in Singapore to offer the program to its students. Children also enjoy daily Mandarin or Spanish from 18 months of age, with the option for a Bilingual Mandarin program starting at age 3.
The school has also engaged in a relationship with Gill Connell, the founder of SMART Steps and the Perceptual Motor Program (PMP), both specially designed to enhance little ones’ key movement patterns en route to successful brain and body development, from as young as 18 months of age. Research shows that innovative physical education programs can help develop children’s gross motor skills and impact classroom aptitude; in concert with the ELV’s unparalleled physical education facilities, the lucky kiddos at Stamford American are in for tons of fun!
Did we mention the curriculum seamlessly integrates STEAM concepts, with countless opportunities to play, create, make, and be innovative? From coding and robotics to non-technology solutions and games, each and every day is a fresh opportunity for children to be equipped with observational, analytic and collaborative skills to develop into curious innovative thinkers. The new Early Learning Village is truly their canvas, mama, and the ideal place for little ones to become the kind of problem solvers the world needs for tomorrow.
And when we talk about getting the best start, we truly mean it: the Early Learning Village is fantastic for working families with its unique Breakfast Club that allows parents to drop their munchkins off as early as 7:15am. There will also be flexible pick-up available until 6pm with the Afternoon Tea Time Club! Kiddos will be given healthy snacks and be entertained with an array of activities under a dedicated Club crew. The Village also has over 10 extensive enrichment activities to choose from!
Clearly we could go on and on about this revolutionary new children’s campus, but really, you’ve got to see it for yourselves, mamas! Click here to book your place!
