SmartKids Asia 2017

FOSSASIA Summit 2017

Get ready for a weekend of IT awesomeness at The FOSSASIA Summit 2017! The annual 3-day conference on open technologies and society offers lectures and workshops and various events on a multitude of topics. For kiddos, look out for the FOSSASIA Science and Tech Kids track, where students can learn to code their first mobile apps, build paper electronics (so called chibotronics), set up robots with a Raspberry PI and make Science “hack” experiments. Look out for all the Tech Kids activities here! And did we mention it’s FREE for kids?!

Clarke Quay StreetFest

Singapore Festival of Fun presents the Clarke Quay StreetFest, which features a whole week of FREE street performances by international artists. Catch acts like Bruce Airhead (a unique street theatre comedy show featuring the metamorphosis of a man and a six-foot balloon); escape artist Rob Roy Collins (Europe’s top street performer and Guinness World Record Holder for the fastest upside-down escape from a soaking wet straight jacket); renowned roaming magician Ryan Shadow with his heart-stopping illusions and more.

Run for Wildlife!

Join 40,000 people in Singapore in taking steps towards a better world by being part of the Sundown Marathon! Choose an environmental cause to run for, whether it is sustaining forests, restoring oceans, or protecting wildlife. When you run, real change happens. Runners will be paired with a conservation champion in Indonesia, who will carry out an on-ground action in support of your shared cause. In conjunction with Earth Hour, take the little ones for the 5km Earth Hour Run!

Sentosa KidZ Flea

Head to the State of Fun, which opens up for a month full of kid-friendly to-dos! Catch young PLAY-trepreneurs (kiddos aged 7-12 years old) in action at the Sentosa KidZ Flea as learn life skills including financial management, selling techniques and social skills. Give them your support by purchasing their new and pre-loved goods!

Singapore Cocktail Festival
