Singapore BJJ Open is back with our first event of the year! SGBJJO 5 is held at Toa Payoh Sports Hall, a gigantic, fully-air conditioned venue with professional sporting amenities. For the first time ever, we’re giving out 3 trophies (Best Overall Team for Gi, Nogi & Kids Categories) and opening our divisions up to BROWN belt!

Kids (Gi) matches will begin at 9 am sharp, followed by Adults & Masters (Gi) White, Blue & Purple belts.

Kids Belt and Age*

4 – 5 years old – White, Grey
6 – 7 years old – White, Grey, Yellow#
8 – 9 years old – White, Grey, Yellow
10 – 11 years old – White, Grey, Yellow, Orange
12 – 13 years old – White, Grey, Yellow, Orange/Green
14 – 15 years old Boys – White, Yellow, Orange/Green
14 – 15 years old Girls – White, Yellow, Orange/Green

#Yellow belt is officially awarded at the age of 7, should there be no competitors for your child in 7 years old Yellow belt, your child will be moved up to 8 – 9 years old Yellow belt division
*All kids division will be mixed with both gender except for 14 – 15 years old boys and girls.
** In event that there is a need to combine any division, parents will be consulted.

4 – 5 years old – 15 kg, 20 kg, 25 kg, 30 kg, 30 kg+
6 – 7 years old – 20 kg, 25 kg, 30 kg, 35 kg, 35 kg+
8 – 9 years old – 20kg, 25 kg, 30 kg, 35 kg, 40 kg, 40 kg+
10 – 11 years old – 30 kg, 35 kg, 40 kg, 45 kg, 45 kg+
12 – 13 years old – 40 kg, 45 kg, 50 kg, 55 kg, 60 kg, 60 kg+
14 – 15 years old – 45 kg, 50 kg, 55 kg, 60 kg, 65 kg, 70 kg, 70 kg+
