If you’re looking to improve your fitness but nervous about gyms or intense classes, give mama-friendly trainer Donna O’Shea a call!

Are you a mama who’s short on time? (We should probably just say, Are you a mama?) We all know how important fitness is, but it always seems to get short shrift; when you’re running around looking after the kiddos, heading into the office, sorting out the groceries, and all other manner of stuff to keep you busy, the last thing you want to do is wear yourself out further and get sweaty!

Donna O’Shea Fitness is all about catering to those busy mamas (and mamas-to-be – she’s also a qualified pre- and post-natal fitness instructor). As a female personal trainer who specializes in working with busy women, Donna can come to you to work out at your condo gym or on your condo’s grounds. Babies and pets are also welcome (love that!).

Donna’s philosophy is all about a friendly and supportive approach to training that encourages clients to be open, which helps keep sessions fun and motivating and ensures that goals are met.

Sessions include boxing, medicine balls, stability balls, resistance bands, body weight work, step boxes and more. No two sessions are alike which is great for keeping you on your toes and ensuring you never get bored, mama. Donna is also qualified in weight nutrition and is happy to chat about healthy eating and recommended recipes.

For pregnant mamas, Donna has worked with women with high-risk pregnancies, women with gestational diabetes needing to watch their weight, women with back pain, symphysis pubis dysfunction, IT band syndrome, and diastasis recti. No matter your physical issue, she will help you work through it and get you feeling great (and of course exercise is fab for your bub, too!).

If you’re not sure you’re up for one-on-one training sessions, Donna has also recently introduced new group classes just for mamas at the Botanic Gardens. Perfect for mamas looking to gently ease their way back into exercise while also meeting other mamas, classes are low-impact and aimed at strengthening the core and pelvic floor safely. And of course babies are welcome once again!

So we know it can be tough finding the time to exercise, but why not make it bonding time with your bubs? Exercise benefits you no matter how you slice it, mama (in fact it majorly boosts productivity) – give Donna a call today and we know you won’t regret it.
