Ganglamedo: Vegetarian Tibetan cuisine

Ganglamedo is housed in a three storey shophouse off Craig Rd that oozes Tibetan charm with warm-hued woods, rich golds and traditional booth style seating. The menu focuses on vegetarian Tibetan set meals – with one option for lunch, a 3 course set ($38 pp min 2 pax) to a choice of different sets for dinner – a five-course vegetarian set at $59.90, 7 courses at $88 plus other VIP menus featuring Cordyceps double boiled soup. Lunch sees a choice of appetizer of soup, slow-cooked egg with morel mushrooms with truffle oil or mizunu mushroom salad, followed by a spicy sesame noodle dish, eight treasures rice or in an unusual departure from the Tibetan style food, a Tofu burger with truffle fries.
