Civil Defense Heritage Gallery and Central Fire Station

Visit the Civil Defense Heritage Gallery, located at the Central Fire Station on Hill Street, between 9am and 11am on Saturdays to see a real fire station in action. Admission is free and your kids can climb into actual fire engines and ambulances, try the fireman’s hose and take pictures with the Red Rhinos (a smaller version of the fire truck) as well as meet actual firemen. It’s a rain or shine activity which is sure to put a smile on every little kid’s face. When you’re done, climb up the hill for a visit to nearby Fort Canning Park and finish it off with a late lunch at Flutes at the Fort for a full day of family-fun.
