Burn is an edgy wood-fired kitchen with exposed brick interiors just off Club Street. If you loved the sourdough and wood-fired dishes at Sideways and The Hangar you’ll be happy to know the Chef-owner, Pav is the same here. Expect sandwiches made with artisanal slow ferment wood-fired bread from sourdough to Cagels (that’s a bagel made with ciabatta flour), rustic ryes and more. Burn is open from 7:30am, so you can pop in for brekkie like Chicken Avocado Cagels ($13) or Smashed Avo & Feta with eggs ($16). The lunch/dinner menu expands to Smoked Brisket sarnies ($18), a hand workout of a sandwich with smoked brisket, slaw, mushrooms and mustard on sourdough or try their bowls of Tuna Poke ($18), or wood fired Lamb Cutlets ($20) on a choice of base like cauliflower or couscous with greens. Ask for their housemade, gut-friendly Kombucha drink full of good bacteria if you want to turbo charge your day and give your immunity a boost.
