Big news! Amazon.sg/Fresh is a gamechanger. How’s it different from Prime Now? Well, mama, you’ll now be able to shop for thousands of fresh, chilled and frozen grocery products, and daily essentials (books, toys, beauty items, electronics, baby items, and more) on your web browser via desktop or mobile! Previously, this was an app-only service but now everything’s going to be in one place on Amazon.sg and the Amazon Shopping App. The Amazon Prime Now app will continue to remain available for a limited time to give Prime Members the time to make the switch to Amazon Fresh.
One-stop grocery shopping delivered in 2 hours
This service integration is going to make things a whole lot more convenient as we can toggle between shopping on Amazon.sg with purchasing items from Amazon Fresh in the same platform seamlessly. Ran out of milk, baby formula, or wet wipes and need them urgently? Opt for Amazon Fresh and it can be at your doorstep in 2 hours – for free too, if you spend above $60! Overcooked the turkey? Get a fresh turkey delivered in a one-hour delivery slot (for a nominal fee of $9.99) on Amazon Fresh (yes even on Christmas Day!).
New items on Amazon Fresh: expanded local foods and general shopping
Amazon is known to support local so foodies will be excited to learn that Amazon Fresh has an expanded local selection of fresh food. Amazon is collaborating with several local enterprises, like Cultured Greens (for fresh green veggies and salads), Hai Sia Seafood (for prawns, salmon, and other seafood produce), Kee Song Chicken (for chilled halal chicken), and Tiong Lian Meats (Iberico pork) to bring Prime members fresh foods from their favourite local brands.
In addition to fresh groceries, Prime members will also enjoy access to thousands of Beauty, Baby, Toys, Books, Household, Personal Care, and Electronic products all delivered within 2-hours and yes you guessed it, for free with a minimum spend of $60.
New features: Recipe section and add purchase after check-out
One of the super new features of Amazon Fresh includes the ability to add items to your cart after you have completed a purchase! No more cancelling your whole order and starting again because you forgot one item.
