Letter from the Editor: A Great Year to be in Singapore

Happy New Year, mamas!

Unless you live under a rock (and even then), it would be hard to not know that 2015 is going to be a very big year in Singapore. There’s already so much to love about living here, but we feel especially lucky to partake in what will surely be an exciting yearlong celebration of all that makes Singapore wonderful and unique.

It’s an exciting time for Sassy Mama, too! We’re not going to tell you everything we’ve got up our sleeves just yet, but rest assured that we’ll be bringing you more of everything you love, and then some:

We’ve already lined up quite the inspiring and incredible group of That Mamas; our food blogger Beate will continue to bring you everything new, cool and of course delicious on the dining scene with her monthly Foodie Newsflash; and you can look forward to more travel inspiration from around this amazing region (don’t miss our 2015 long weekend planner, mamas!).

Closer to home, we’re helping you get off to a healthy start with our recs for the best personal trainers in Singapore that come to you. We’ll have the lowdown on the newest play spaces. Pregnant women can expect lots more expert advice and personal stories. And you know we’ll continue to be your ultimate resource for everything school-related.

You can also look forward to a super-fun slate of Mama Meet-ups this year (we’ve just announced February’s, get psyched!). I love getting the chance to meet our amazing readers, and can say with confidence that the little ones always have a great time.

And saving the best for last, I’m thrilled to let you know that we’ll be rolling out a fresh new site redesign in the coming weeks, making all our fantastic content more accessible and easier to find (and our gorgeous graphics even prettier than before)!
