Explore, Learn and Have Fun at Rise & Shine Festival 2015

Asia’s largest festival for kids is coming to Suntec Convention Centre, mamas! The Rise & Shine Festival 2015 is all about children’s health and development. Founded by three mamas in 2013, it’s become Singapore’s #1 educational kids’ fair, along with its biggest books & toys fair featuring best-selling items at INCREDIBLE discounts (we’re talking up to 80%)! This three day event will feature over 100 different activities for you and the little ones with a huge range of workshops and seminars to take part in.

When: Friday, 28 August – Sunday, 30 August, 11am-9pm. Check out their website for a full list of seminar prices and timings.

Asian Folk Tales in Singapore: Jewels in the Tale
Exploring folklore from all around Asia, Jewels in the Tale will keep both mamas and kiddies entertained with tales like “The Crane’s Gratitude” (Japan), “The Four Dragons” (China), and “Tenali Raman and the Three Thieves” (India). Each mini production is bursting with classical Indian Dance, Chinese Opera or western style slapstick. The exciting colours, music and drama will have the entire family glued to their seats!

When: Monday, 17 August – Sunday, 30 August. Mon-Wed, Sat: 10am & 2.30pm; Thu-Fri 10am.

Family Time at the Movies!
Bring bub along to Mums and Babies Monday Morning for a screening of Shaun the Sheep: The Movie! Golden Village has specially lowered their sound within the cinema and provided several, easily accessible changing facilities. If you’re lucky you may also be able to bag yourself a free gift while stocks last.

Step out of the ‘mum jeans’ and send your confidence through the roof with this cheeky workshop from SLAP Dance Studio! You’ll learn how to work a chair, strip and tease in this sizzling, one hour dance class led by former ‘That Mama’ Jasmine Han. Go on mama, reserve a spot for you and the girls, have a bit of a giggle and give yourselves a (well deserved) break from that everyday routine!

Kate Porter Yoga Free Session at the Gardens!
To spread the yoga love, Kate Porter Yoga is treating all mamas to a free class at Gardens by the Bay!
