Starting next week, Singapore will become the culinary capital of the world as it hosts the 20th annual World Gourmet Summit!
Foodie mamas, it’s almost time for one of the gourmet biggies of 2016! The World Gourmet Summit (WGS) is just around the corner (28 March to 24 April 2016).
As WGS celebrates 20 sumptuous years of fine cuisine, unique dining and outstanding wines, diners in Singapore can get set for a brilliant showcase of international culinary stars, gastronomic experiences, home grown talents and visiting personalities.
Here are some highlights to look forward to:
Masterchef Reto Mathis from St. Moritz will be back at WGS this year along with other Michelin-starred chefs including Yoshinori Ishii, prominent kaiseke chef of London-based Japanese restaurant Umu fame; Javier Aranda, a rising star in the Spanish culinary scene; renowned three Michelin-starred chef Nacho Manzano from Spain’s famous Ibérica Restaurant; Arnaud Bignon of the famous Greenhouse in London’s Mayfair; and the Kyoto stylings of Japanese cuisine expert (and two Michelin-starred) Takagi Kazuo. This is just the tip of the culinary iceberg, mamas, as there will be several other familiar faces and famous names from the gourmet scene at WGS.
