Shake Shack has opened their third restaurant in Singapore and it’s on Orchard Road! The new branch at Liat Towers boasts world-exclusive lemonades and the chain’s first digital ordering kiosks in the country.
Downstairs from the streetside section of the restaurant is a sunken patio in an open-air setting, which gives homage to the original Shack in Madison Square Park. The Orchard Road Shack takes inspiration from the nearby Botanic Gardens and uses traditional garden and greenhouse elements to link the inviting patio to the inside space with abundant foliage. Local artist Danielle Tay created an energetic mural that anchors the patio and showcases Singapore’s landmarks.
Now, who’s ready for some burgers?
Shake Shack Orchard, 541 Orchard Road #01-01, Liat Towers,

Has your kiddo caught the boba bug too? If metal or bamboo straws are too stiff but you still want to teach your bubs to reduce plastic waste, Lexngo’s Silicone Resealable Jumbo Straws are a perfect alternative for sustainably sipping on bubble tea!
Made from 100% European-Grade silicone that’s also non-toxic and BPA-free, the Silicone Resealable Jumbo Straw ($18 for a pack of 2) features an ultra-bendy form that fits snugly in your bag without losing its shape, and comes with a leak-proof seal that can be unzipped for easy, thorough cleaning.
NB: My almost-one-year-old loves the regular-sized Lexngo straw! She really enjoys sipping water through it and I’m glad I don’t have to worry because it’s so gentle on her gums. I’m sure the jumbo straw will be a hit with bigger kids!

While salons, spas and aesthetic clinics are now allowed to operate, there are some of us out there who are still wary of indulging in some treatments due to hygiene reasons – particularly if it requires us to be maskless and in close contact with our therapist, such as during a facial.
Pioneer of Korean aesthetics in Singapore, Dr SM Yuen of Atlas Medical ~ Derma-Regen Clinic is exploring his latest invention of the VX Mask, a strapless face mask that covers just the nose and mouth, while leaving the rest of the face exposed for ease of treatments. The mask uses a self-adhesive medical grade hypoallergenic skin adhesive tape that creates a seal around the nose and mouth that can last for as long as six to eight hours. The mask can also be removed for eating or drinking and reapplied up to six times.
The patent-pending VX Mask is a standard surgical 3-ply mask with two hydrophobic non-woven layers and a middle melt-blown filter. It also meets international standards (ASTM F2100 and ISO 10993-5) and is said to be much more comfortable compared to regular masks. It allows breathability as the area to hold the exhaled air is also smaller, leading to less “air trap” between mask and face. It also helps to reduce fogging of glasses due to the smaller amount of air trapped in the mask.
Find it: The VX Mask will be available for sale in boxes of 40s at $0.90 per piece ($36 per box), at Atlas Medical ~ Derma-Regen Clinic located at Ngee Ann City Tower B, #24-08/10.
