To provide support during this uncertain period, Sesame Street’s nonprofit educational organization, Sesame Workshop, is offering a broad variety of free online resources to help children and families through a new Caring for Each Other initiative.
The resources have been designed to help parents provide comfort and manage anxiety, as well as help with creating routines, fostering playful learning at home, and staying physically and mentally healthy. Sesame Workshop is committed to support families for the duration of this crisis, with brand new content added on a regularly basis, featuring the Sesame Street Muppets sharing messages of love and kindness, playful learning activities, and virtual play dates launching soon. Mindful that the adults who care for children also need support, the resources are intended to help caregivers as well as children.

Whether you’re a mama-to-be curious about car seat safety or have a preemie and you’re looking for a suitable car seat for your little one, Taxi Baby’s new virtual consultations will help to answer all your burning questions. You’ll get to speak directly to their founder Elise Mawson, an Australian-certified child car restraint fitter, and a US-certified child passenger safety technician instructor, and find out which car seats will best suit your child, your lifestyle, your vehicle and your budget (even if you’re trying to fit three kids in one row!). We’re not sure anyone knows more about car seat safety in Singapore than Elise!
Plus, if you choose a Virtual Micro-consult ($10) or the Micro-consult with Fit-check ($20), the consult fee will go towards any item purchased from the Taxi Baby store should you choose to order after your consult – so your consultation is basically free!

Using simple rhymes and fun illustrations, Covid-19 for Kids helps children understand the facts and what they can do to help fight COVID-19. This book was written by a local mama to help parents talk to children about the coronavirus and answer the most important questions:
- What is COVID-19 and why is it such a big deal?
- How can I catch the coronavirus?
- What happens if I get it?
- What can I do to reduce my risk of getting infected?
- What is my role in reducing its spread, especially amongst those most vulnerable to the disease?
