It’s that time again! Yup, it’s barely November but the holiday shopping fair madness has begun. But fear not mama… we’ve done all the dirty work for you to make sure you don’t miss a beat. Many of these make for great family days out, with food, music, activities, crafts and more to keep everyone happy – and keep an eye out too… Santa is popping by quite a few. So grab your diaries, ‘cause here’s our guide to the best holiday fairs in Singapore!

One of S’pore’s most popular Christmas fairs, there’ll be live music, a fashion show (at 3pm!) and a balloon-sculpting magician on site to keep the kids busy. Shop for jewellery, clothing, gifts and Christmas goods, as well as traditional Dutch baked goodies, all while raising money to support local charities.

A fun family carnival in the heart of Dempsey — this one is sure to be a winner with the entire family! With sculptured balloons and face painting for the wee ones, wine tasting for the grown ups and shopping for the ladies, there’ll also be plenty of artists showcasing their unique products, as well as hearty brunch fare for the whole fam!

AWA Nearly New Baby & Kids Sale
Loads of stalls selling second hand children’s games, toys, books and clothing, as well as gently used maternity and baby items… it’s the perfect place to stock up on kids’ items at a fraction of the price!

Saint Joseph’s School Christmas Fair
Fun for the whole family, this year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever! With a bunch of new vendors lined up (Sassy Mama fave Ribbon and Roses will be there!), there’ll also be games and entertainment to keep the kids busy while you shop mama!

East Coast Christmas Pop Up Fair
The fam-friendly Picotin Express will be transformed into a concept pop up shop for one day only, showcasing 15 handpicked vendors selling home and festive decos and gifts – there’ll also be gourmet food and wine to enjoy.

The Tabitha Silk Foundation Fair
This is a fair with a difference as it helps raise funds for The Tabitha Foundation – a charity that works with families in Cambodia helping to improve their lives through community development programmes that promote personal and financial development. Expect loads of stalls selling handbags, scarves and accessories, as well as custom order silk cushions and bedding.

Shop for eco-friendly (yet stunning!) handicrafts that make the perfect Christmas gifts for your nearest and dearest. Here you’ll find all manner of folk paintings, artifacts, shawls, jewellery and much more all lovingly imported from India.

Ni Night End of Year Clearance Sale
With 30 vendors coming together under one roof (think brands like White Ginger, Attaby, Georgie Ohlsson Jewellery, Galanga Living and much more!) and each offering a minimum of 30% off all stock, there’s plenty of bargain finds to be had at this popular sale event. A great day out and a firm favourite amongst the city’s festive fairs, last year’s bazaar had over 1000 visitors! Pick up all your Danish Christmas decorations, Advent wreathes and candles, as well as all the food items you need to cook the perfect Christmas roast – Santa will even be there so don’t let the kiddies forget their wish lists!

Public Garden Christmas Markets
The well-loved Public Garden flea market is hosting four weekends of festive fun this year (first time ever!) with over 120 of the best in Singapore’s online and physical stores selling everything you need to finish off your Christmas shopping! Set over an entire level of 111 Somerset, the place will be transformed into a festive space, complete with specially themed Christmas merchandise and festive baked goodies.

The Lock + Store annual Christmas fair features the new range of RiverKids’ hand sewn Christmas ornaments, as well as 15 artisan vendors selling homemade gifts and crafts. Proceeds help support the RiverKids project – a Singapore-based charity that reaches out to Cambodian street kids.

The Fair at the Orchard Parade Hotel
The year-end installment of this grande dame of Singapore holiday fairs, here you’ll find literally everything under the sun for everyone on your list (and a few things for you too…). There are over 100 stalls participating this year, with surprise door gifts for early visitors.

Clarke Quay Trader’s Market – The Christmas Edition

If you’re still scrambling for gifts in the last week before Christmas, then drop past this cute little flea market and pick up what you need — at a bargain!
