The June school holidays are finally around the corner and SuperPark has lots of fun in store! This summer, SuperPark is hosting SuperPark Goes Unplugged, a three-day school holiday camp for 7 to 12-year-olds designed to get kids off their screens and exploring different areas of learning – all while making new friends. SuperPark Goes Unplugged offers a mix of indoor playground fun; kids will get to bounce, skate, scoot and go wild with the offerings at SuperPark all under the mentorship of SuperPark Coaches, plus experience outdoor activities like survival skills, petting farm animals (including crocodiles) and more! Get in touch with nature with The Local Farm Adventures
Let your child explore the great outdoors with The Local Farm Adventures, which is partnering with SuperPark for a brand-new, nature-themed camp! Not only will kids get to experience local farm life – feed goats, catch frogs and even carry a baby crocodile – they’ll also discover how farming and agriculture work in Singapore, and how to support local produce. SuperPark’s outdoor camps will see kids spend the day at HayDairies Goat Farm, Jurong Frog Farm, Long Kuan Hung Crocodile Farm and Uncle William’s Quail Egg Farm. What’s even better? Happy campers will get a nutritious farm to table lunch as well!
Learn useful life & tech skills
Is it really possible to learn valuable life skills while having a blast? SuperPark, RoBlocks and Longkang Adventures say YES with their crafty camps. Longkang Adventures will offer children a device-free introduction to survival skills in the wilderness, as they learn how to build simple shelters to protect them from unexpected weather, filter dirty water to make it drinkable and even make simple tools for hunting and security.
If your kiddo aspires to be a master coder, then they’ll learn plenty with RoBlocks by building a custom Sumo warrior through coding and programming with the LEGO® Mindstorms Kit. Afterwards, they’ll join a last-robot-standing match to see who’s the winner!
Work your mind and body
SuperPark’s holiday camps aren’t just a fun learning experience for kids, they’ll also get to expand their creative abilities, understand the importance of physical activity and flex their mental muscles. These five activities within SuperPark Goes Unplugged have their own learning elements:
Skate and Scoot: In this hourlong holiday camp, kids will get plenty of physical activity as they learn speed, control, and how to stop and turn their scooters.
Trampolines: Little jumpers will love training under a SuperCoach, who will show them the art of balancing and bouncing higher, plus loads of cool tricks!
Paracord Crafting: Creativity is the highlight here, as participants will create their own colourful accessories such as bracelets and mask straps from scratch.
Blaze Pods: Active kiddos will love training their agility, as the activities in this holiday camp are designed to push them beyond their limits!
Super Hunt: Your little Sherlock Holmes in the making can train their brain by solving a series of riddles – each has a clue that leads to the location of the items they must collect to win the treasure hunt. Teams will get plenty of physical activity too, as they will get to run around the park and gain points.
You won’t have to worry about your child’s safety, as each camp’s coach – and all SuperPark staff – are trained in the various activities on offer. Not only will the camp chiefs provide step-by-step instructions and supervise each child carefully, but they are first aid-certified, too. Want to sign up? Here’s what you need to know:
