Science Centre Singapore is one of our favourite edutainment spots for the whole family and this Christmas there’s a new festive reason to head on over with their first-ever Christmas Fair at The Annexe running from 7 December over three weekends! This is your opportunity to enjoy year-end festivities at the Science Centre where the kids can learn fun science facts as usual but with the price of your entry ticket, there’s also entry to the Christmas Fair thrown in! Head on over to The Annexe to indulge in festive food and drinks, do some last-minute Christmas gift shopping from local artisans, watch the Sci-sational Christmas Show, and enter the lucky draw with 5 prizes worth a total of $1000! That sounds like a festive win-win to us!

What’s On: Science Centre Singapore’s Christmas Fair

Christmas gift shopping at the artisanal market: From beautiful cushions and quilts by Kate & Avie, to personalised laser cut gifts by Korograph, fun handmade jewellery by Arts de Scrap, artisan flowering tea by Petaletea and yesteryear toys of wooden rubberband guns by Singapore Rubber Band Gun Shooters, look out for 20 local artisans at this Fair. Get into the Christmas spirit as you tick off your Christmas shopping list all under one roof at The Annexe, at Science Centre!

Festive food and drinks will be on sale so munch on gingerbread cookies, tasty muffins, upmarket wines, and brownies.

Science activities: entry to the Christmas Fair is included in your ticket to the Science Centre so enjoy all the fun on offer at this edutainment spot where dozens of exhibits will entertain and teach the kids science facts. There are loads of hands-on activities (our faves are playing the Climate Machine, exploring the Mirror Maze and experiencing the Typhoon Simulator) so a trip to the Science Centre Singapore is always a fun immersive experience!

In addition to the Christmas Fair, there’s also a Christmas Show to look out for at Science Centre! Get ready for a sci-sational adventure with fun quirky elves at Science Centre this Christmas! Your kids are in for real treat, as they’ll get exclusive access to the elves’ headquarters where all the scientific magic happens in the heart of their Christmas Village. Experience spectacular blazing hydrogen combustion and freezing liquid nitrogen explosions demonstrated by the elves in a safe and up-close performance! Plus, learn how to make your very own scented Christmas candle (you get to bring your candle home – it makes a lovely handcrafted gift for someone special!). If you’re lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of Santa’s top-secret office.
