Summary
Our school atmosphere is one in which our pupils and their learning and wellbeing is highly valued. Making a school ‘welcoming’ is much more than a list of things we can do. Creating a welcoming atmosphere is more an attitude than anything else — an attitude that starts right at the top. We have created a shared vision and goals to accomplish that vision, we have worked consciously to brighten our school — physically and emotionally.
Our vision is to love learning and strive for the greater good. This permeates every part of the school culture. In fact, we are always “looking for learning” – pupil achievement and development are growth and learning centred. We concentrate on not just academic achievement, but growing the whole child and a holistic education that is based on a pupil’s greatest potential.
