The Color Run 2018 comes to Singapore this September. Celebrate the Superhero in you!
The Color Run presented by UnionPay also known as the Happiest 5k on the Planet, is a family paint race like no other! It’s a non-competitive fun run that involves being doused in colourful powder throughout the course — what’s not to love? The Color Run embraces everybody and celebrates healthiness, happiness, and individuality. If you are looking for a fun activity to do as a family and get your kids active, this is it! Here’s how you can take part, mama!
What exactly is The Color Run?
The Color Run presented by UnionPay, now in its sixth year, is the largest running series in the world, and has been experienced by over 6 million runners worldwide in 35+ countries. This untimed, non-competitive crazy fun 5 km run is taking place this September 29th at Palawan Green on Sentosa. Adults and kids will get the chance to unleash their inner hero, get covered in colour and bond with their fam.
Run through a rainbow of colour!
So you’re probably wondering where does all the amazing colour (pictured) that makes the Color Run so much fun, come from? There are four colour zones throughout the 5km Color Run, where friendly colour ambassadors are ready to douse runners with colour powder (all powder is certified non-toxic and free of any heavy metals). Wear white — but not your bestest branded gear ‘cos colour this bright may be here to stay.
Walk, Skip or Stroll
The Color Run is open to adults and kids alike, no matter your fitness level. It’s completely uncompetitive. You don’t even need to run, in fact — you can walk, skip or even stroller your way through The Color Run!
Foam Fun & Finish Festival
There’s also a foam zone (the inner kid in you is doing fist pumps right now, we know it!), so expect to get a little bit wet and covered in bubbles plus there’s and an amazing finish festival! This larger-than-life party is where you get to show off your true colors, inside and out! Expect music, dancing and more colour throwing. It’s an after-party not to be missed!
