You’re Invited: Mama + Kid Photography Workshop at Hort Park – Book your space now!

Has your iPhone been taken hostage by your snap-happy child? Fear not, we’ve got just the thing for all you mamas out there with a budding photographer on your hands. The lovely people over at M.A.D School Singapore (which stands for Marketing, Advertising and Design by the way) are organizing a Nature Photography Workshop for mamas and kids together, where both of you will learn to take pictures like pros!

Photo enthusiasts of all ages get to enjoy learning some hands-on camera techniques and get advice from the lovely and highly skilled C.S Ling. As an internationally award-winning wildlife and nature photographer this lady knows her stuff! Her works have been published in National Geographic Explorer as well as exhibited in the prestigious Smithsonian Natural History Museum in the US, so you will be in very good hands.

But will she be able to teach my child a thing or two you’re wondering? Definitely! C.S is also an experienced instructor and lecturer who has taught and inspired students of all ages.

The workshop will take place on Saturday November 23^rd from 8am-12pm at Hort Park with ample time for you and your child to get creative behind the camera and have fun together. The sessions are open to explorers of all ages, even if barely old enough to hold a camera or just tagging along for a nice morning out.

Each parent/child duo will be provided with a Nikon1 camera to use during the workshop, generously sponsored by Nikon Singapore. So all you need to do is book your space, show up and start exploring together! What better way to learn about the wonders of nature than through the lens of a camera? Consider it a biology lesson in disguise if you wish, because the kids will be too busy having fun to realize they’re learning about nature too! Bonding at its very best we’re thinking.

The only downside is that there is that there is only room for 10 mama+kid duos so you’ve got to be quick mamas! Snap, snap.
