Go Kids Go: Cool New Travel Guides

TravelPost Category - TravelTravel - Post Category - Inspiration & TipsInspiration & Tips

Haven Books have recently launched a series of travel guides, “kidsGo!“, expressly for the intrepid kid traveller in mind. Full of tips that are both kid and parent friendly, they are guaranteed to become an invaluable resource for your next trip. Illustrated by the talented Hong Kong based Tania Willis, they look great too.

I was lucky enough to grab hold of copies of the Bali and New York edition. I have taken my own kids to both places and was happy to discover a few favourite haunts listed, but even happier that there were some places that I didn’t know existed!

They even have detailed suggestions on what to do on that (gulp!) rainy day when the kids are running around the your hotel room driving you crazy! There are lots of yummy food tips as well as a chapter of interesting factoids and a section for the kids to keep their tickets and other memorabilia.

In addition to New York and Bali, the series includes Phuket, Hong Kong, London and Sydney. The books also includes a link to their website where you can search hotels and current travel information about your destination.  You can also upload your own holiday pics and reviews.

I am now heading off to get the Sydney copy for our family trip later this week. Have a great summer and safe travels!

You can get your KidsGo! guides from Bookazine, Dymocks, Metro Books, Bumps to Babes and other selected stores.  You can see a full listing here.

Sassy Tip: There’s plenty of useful info available online too at the kidsGo! website!
