Find out how you can be a part of Club Rainbow Singapore’s cause and contribute to enriching the lives of children with chronic illnesses
Club Rainbow’s mission is to support and empower children with chronic illnesses toward a full and enriching life. The non-profit charity organisation raises funds for beneficiaries, which includes newborns to youths all the way up to the age of 20. The organisation also provides services geared toward helping children’s families in a holistic way by providing compassionate, relevant services.
Read through the heartfelt stories of these children and their parents and you’ll have a better understanding of the difficulties they face daily, while still finding the silver lining in everything. Every story concludes with each family expressing their gratitude for all the help they’ve received through Club Rainbow Singapore. Club Rainbow’s support includes emotional and financial support, educational assistance, counselling, tuition and regular social programmes and events (including family trips and camps for kids) to help make their beneficiaries feel right at home in a safe space.
This year, the seventh edition of Ride for Rainbows will kick off on Saturday, 21 April at 9pm in Tai Seng. Participants can choose from three challenging (albeit non-competitive) cycling routes that range between 60km to 107km. These rides are a test of tenacity and resilience, two qualities that Club Rainbow hopes to instil in their beneficiaries as they embark onward in their journey towards an enriching life.
How you can help: Register as a rider ASAP (as registration and qualification deadlines are on 9 April) and encourage all your friends, family and colleagues to help you reach the minimum donation goal (which starts at $700) in order to qualify for the Ride for Rainbows event. Otherwise, pledge a donation to any of the registered participants and groups or donate directly to Club Rainbow Singapore – whichever you choose, every cent will go towards Club Rainbow’s beneficiaries and their families!
