Tulipmania 2023: Origins of the Tulip

Singapore’s largest tulip festival, Tulipmania, returns once more with a collection of spectacular blooms that are sure to impress! This year, the display is centred around the origin of tulips in Eastern Türkiye, as well as the rich history of tulips that were first cultivated by the Ottomans. Delight in the floral display of uniquely shaped tulips cultivated on Turkish soil that are different from the common tulips that most people know. Walk through a vibrant Tulip wonderland set in a landscape that showcases Eastern Türkiye’s most iconic landmarks, architecture, art and culture. Snap an Insta-worthy photo with the backdrop of hot air balloons rising into the sky at sunrise in Capppadocia. Wander through a replica of one of the seven wonders of the world – the famous Temple of Artemis. And admire the nine-storey tall Galata Tower from Istanbul or the İznik ware, decorated ceramic with distinctive floral imagery.
