From 8 – 16 January 2022, the Tamil community will be celebrating Pongal, a four-day harvest festival to convey gratitude and appreciation to the Sun God (Surya). The Indian Heritage Centre is putting on lots of fun cultural events for the whole family to explore this festival! Kids can learn about Pongal through puppetry storytelling and crafts, go on a mini treasure hunt, create their very own Tanjore painting masterpiece and more!
