House on the Hill: Open Week

Holistic education is a priority at House on the Hill preschool. It has three locations – Mount Sophia, Balmoral and Pasir Panjang – each offering little learners a lush environment and a curriculum that nurtures them with key foundation skills for success in life. Purposeful experiences and the Montessori method shape the preschool’s educational approach. Come October, House on the Hill is opening its classroom doors – virtually – for you to experience it all personally.

Step into a live class in the comforts of your own home and watch the students and teachers in action during the virtual tours. You’ll notice that the Montessori classroom is quieter than most kindergartens, and a member of the House on the Hill team will be available to answer any pressing questions you may have.

Alternatively, sit down with Ms. Marilyn Ow, Founding Principal and Principal of the Mount Sophia campus and House on the Hill parent Paola Barcacel in the first Lunch Time Chat session. They will discuss the Montessori approach to separation anxiety;  separation anxiety is part of growing up, and this session is a great way to find out how to navigate stressful changes in your child’s life.

The second Lunch Time Chat session will be hosted by Ms. Sunshine Goh, Principal of the Pasir Panjang campus and Jia Lao Shi, Head of Mandarin. This chat session is bilingual, and will cover FAQs posed by parents about House on the Hill’s Mandarin programme.
