KouKou Cafe is the place for cute bite-sized dumplings featuring characters from Kung Fu Panda, Madagascar, Shrek and more

KouKou Café, launching in Singapore 3 March 2018, sees character themed food and drinks fashioned after five well-loved Dreamworks animated movies — Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, Madagascar, How to Train Your Dragon, and Trolls.

The Asian inspired menu at KouKou Cafe consists of seven mains, six sides and five desserts. Highlights include cute character-shaped dim sum buns, and sticky rice moulded into penguins from Madagascar for the dish “Never Leave a Man Behind ($22.50)”.

As might be expected from a themed cafe, some dishes are a little less appealing in aesthetics, or decorated with paper as in the “Hug Time!” Curry Rice ($16.50). You can always wash it all down with sugary drinks ($7.50) in lurid colours.

Dreamworks’ KouKou Cafe is located at Bugis+, 201, Victoria Street, #05-04/05/06, facebook.com/dreamworkskoukoucafe
