Thyme @Aliwal Craft Cafe is the sister restaurant to Thyme@Rochester. Nestled in the heart of Bugis/Arab Street and formerly known as Eat/Play/Love, this whimsical little cafe has super cute decor, and a cozy and unpretentious vibe. The interior is filled with vintage and nostalgic items so get ready for a trip down memory lane. The main draw here for parents is the fully dedicated arts & crafts corner (available at $5 per child or simple selection free) complete with colouring sets and art supplies where kids can rustle up some art or tinker around with upcycling an invention. That leaves the parents to have a quiet drink or a bite to eat in peace!

There’s a huge European and Asian-inspired menu spanning everything from Malabar Fish Curry to Crispy Duck Confit. There is a set lunch menu, as well as brunch options like Pancakes with Cream and Eggs Ben. Just remember to call ahead on weekends to make sure they’re not hosting a private party.
