Open seven days a week, the kids’ haircuts here are done in ultra-cute stations that are designed to look like ice-cream sundaes. The team of stylists have more than 10 years of experience, which is definitely a bonus if it’s your child’s very first haircut! 3. EC House Kids’ Corner

4. Expat Hair Studio
We already know mamas love this stylish hair studio in Joo Chiat that seems to be constantly expanding their team to meet burgeoning demand. No car or train seats here, but you can bond with your mini-me while getting your hair done together, and perhaps reward their patience with a go at the playground across the street at I12 Katong. NB: Expat Hair Studio also has a more centrally located hair salon at Boat Quay!
5. Hairlux
Got yourself a stylish little one? Previously known as One Cut Above KIDS, Hairlux provides trendy kids’ haircuts and styling for boys and girls (with a salon for mamas and dads just next door!).
6. Huaxia Taimaobi
Mamas keeping to the Chinese tradition of getting babies a haircut after their first month will appreciate Huaxia Taimaobi’s experienced and professional ladies who specialise in this ceremonial head-shaving (they’ll even come to you!). They’ve shaved the heads of more than 68,000 babies, and are super popular among local actors, actresses, singers and celebrities who look for this service for their kids. Using fully sterilised shavers designed just for bubs’ heads, Huaxia Taimaobi then makes keepsake calligraphy paintbrushes out of those precious first locks. They are the only company in Singapore to do so, in fact!
7. Kids ‘n’ Me

Kimage Cove is truly an all-in-one salon with services for the whole family. Dads can get their sleek gentlemen’s haircuts at The Bunker and mamas get to kick back and have their tresses pampered, while kiddos can head to The Playground for some playtime once Kimage’s master stylists have completed their haircuts!
9. LAKids Cowboy
LAKids Cowboy is part of the LA Barbershop chain, but the only kids’ salon is at Vivo. The cowboy theme at this kids’ hair salon is strong – think stylists dressed in head-to-toe denim and red bandanas – and the hairdressers take extra care in cutting the hair of infants and toddlers. They even have special haircutting capes that mamas or dads can wear while having their kiddos on their lap, protecting them from any fallen hair getting on their clothes. The main location in Vivo is conveniently located among the string of kids’ and baby stores.

Leekaja is known for providing a Korean luxury feel at their salon. Make sure you look for their Senior Director Jenny, who’s great at kids’ haircuts and styling!
11. Little Red Dot
It’s walk-ins only at this super-popular little salon for kids’ haircuts in Forum that’s one of the few dedicated family salons in Singapore. Kiddos will put up with sitting still once they know they’ll be given a lollipop at the end (and a certificate to commemorate their first haircut), and if the wait is long there are some little ride-on cars outside the salon to keep them occupied.
12. Manecub
If your child is uncomfortable getting a haircut in the salon, book an appointment with Manecub instead. Their stylists are skilled in kids’ haircuts at home. Simply book an appointment, and the stylist will be able to give your child a fresh style while they watch their favourite shows on the telly. Manecub also provides baby’s haircuts.

East Coast mamas will love kids’ hairdresser Poika & Tytar, which specialises in kids’ and baby’s haircuts – they also share a space with the Back to Basics salon. The stylists are gentle and friendly, and kiddos will love the colourful space.

A family concept salon, QB House for Kids makes your toddler’s haircut a breeze. While the stylists get to work, your tot can enjoy the playpens, iPads, comics and toys scattered around the salon. Walking by this super-kid-friendly mini-chain, you might almost mistake it for a small indoor play space rather than a salon what with their fun chairs (cars, rocket ships, etc.), ultra-colourful walls and sideline activities (arts & crafts! Balloons!). When that all fails, kids also get iPads to distract them during the haircut itself.
