Christmas at Ni-Night: Annual Clearance Sale and Wreath-Making Workshop

Here at Sassy Mama HQ we’re big fans of children’s furniture and accessories store Ni-Night, and we always look forward to their sales! Get your holiday shopping done early and take advantage of their Annual Christmas Sale to score some sweet deals from fabulous vendors, and check out their unique holiday decorations sure to guarantee Christmas tree envy!  While you’re shopping, mama, take advantage of their super-fun Wreath-Making Workshop to get even more into the holiday spirit. Your own handmade wreath will be perfect for your front door or Christmas table!

Stamford American International School November Open House

Future Celebrity Chefs Required! Stamford American is the first and only school in Singapore to partner with a celebrity chef. Come along to their November Open House on Friday 13 November, when budding foodies can meet Chef Emmanuel Stroobant and hear how he is educating students to make better food choices with 20 professional chefs on campus and more than 25% organic ingredients. Families can also explore Stamford’s state-of-the-art campus, speak with school leadership and faculty, and learn about Stamford’s innovative American International Baccalaureate curriculum.

Boutique Fairs @ The Pit Building

Boutiques Fairs is back again as one of the most anticipated shopping events in Singapore! Enjoy a day filled with superb shopping, gourmet bites, coffee and mingling with friends! Take a break and spoil yourself with boutique offerings such as clothes, children’s wear, accessories and home goods from a variety of different designers (we’ve got our eye on the baubles from new Boutiques merchant Catherine Preston Jewellery Design, pictured above!). It’s always exciting to discover new products and get to know the ladies (and men) running some of Singapore’s most well-loved boutiques!

New Mothers’ Support Group Family Fayre

The New Mothers’ Support Group (NMSG) are hosting their very first Family Fun Fayre! Come along and enjoy great entertainment, delicious food and lots of shopping. Activities will include facepainting, a trampoline, a photo booth, makeup consultations and music sessions! Sponsors like Stork’s Nest, Bakipa, Our Music Studio, and more will also be on hand to help make your mama life a little easier!

‘Here and Now’ Bronze and Sculpture Exhibition by Wu Qiong

Give the kiddos a dose of culture and see the latest exhibition from nternationally acclaimed sculptor and painter Wu Qiong. “Here and Now” is a milestone exhibition for the artist as he officially introduces his transition to bronze sculpting. Wu Qiong is the man behind post-pop and neo cartoons that appeal to audiences of all ages. Wu will be showcasing his latest paintings and sculptures characterised by luscious dreamscapes, whimsical characters and compositions. Wu’s distinctive cartoon style is obvious, and it resonates with the aesthetic of a generation absorbed with graphic novels, comics, digital worlds, animation and gaming.

SWF3: Singapore Writers Festival for Families

For the first time, there’s a designated family component to the ever popular Singapore Writers Festival: SWF3 (Singapore Writers Festival For Families)! Based around this year’s theme, “Island of Dreams”, SWF3 will be a unique way for the whole family to get together to share ideas, experience stories and dwell in the imaginary through storytelling, talks from popular local children’s authors, music and drama workshops, and much more. There are heaps of activities on for kiddos aged 4 and up!
