There’s a saying, “Families who play together stay together.” If you are looking for ways to bond with your kid, we’ve found a super fun event coming up – Multi-Sport Family Fun on 11 June (for families with kids aged 5-12 years old) taking place right inside the National Stadium! This event by Active Parents is all about experiencing lots of sporty activities (athletics, basketball, football and dance fitness) with your child.

 

 

A social movement by Sport Singapore, Active Parents believes in the power of sport to strengthen family bonds and give kids a passion for being active! When you are dancing like crazy to your favourite tunes with your child, playing football together, and encouraging each other as you try a new sport, these are the moments that deepen your connection and bring families closer.

Parent-child fun: athletics, basketball, football, dance fitness

Expect 60 minutes of non-stop parent-child action on the very same pitch that the Lions and international rugby legends played on. The iconic dome roof will be closed and the event will be sheltered. This will be a once in a lifetime experience for most of us!

There will be athletics, basketball, football and dance fitness. Activities are beginner-friendly (no prior experience is required – for mum/dad or kiddo!) and are intentionally designed to be fun for both parents and kids so you can bond through this interactive experience. The hope is that this event will give you lots of ideas about how to play with your child beyond the session too.

You’ll also get the chance to meet and take pictures with Nila, the beloved mascot, as he roams the stadium. A pic of the family with Nila would make an amazing memento of this exciting experience!

What: Parent-child activities: Athletics, Basketball, Football and Dance Fitness.
         Athletics and Football: 3 sessions to choose from: 8:30am -9:30am; 10am – 11am; 11:30am-12:30pm
        Basketball and Football: 3 sessions to choose from: 2pm-3pm; 3:30pm-4:30pm; 5pm-6pm
Programme Fees: Standard Rate: $30. ActiveSG Members Rate*: $21 (30% discounted rate for Singaporeans and PRs). Each registration is for 1 parent and 1 child as a pair.
