Heard about the amazing Sesame Street inflatables at Changi Airport? We’ve got all the deets on fun things to do with kids this school holidays!
Sesame Street was a HUGE part of my growing up years; I was pretty much addicted to the show. My daughter, however, probably recognises only her favourite characters like Elmo (of course!) and Cookie Monster.
That was enough, though, for her to completely let loose at Changi Airport’s Sesame Street pop-up exhibition.
There are three parts to the pop-up exhibition but why beat around the bush when really, the main highlight is Inflatable Fun with Sesame Street, a gigantic inflatable playground in Terminal 3, with life-sized characters, slides, tunnels, a climbing wall and a huge ball pit to go crazy in. I don’t think I can quite convey in words what a blast she had – you’ll have to watch the video to see for yourself!
Also cool was Those Were The Days at Terminal 4. Surina experienced five-stones, pick-up sticks and hop-scotch. Do school kids still play these games today? I should hope so! Just looking at her throw those bags of sand in the air brought me back to my primary school years, sitting along the school corridor waiting for the bell to ring as a friend would fish out five “stones” for us to do all kinds of tricks with. It was THE thing to do back then!

We also got a Sesame Street-themed Changi Love Kids Passport to Fun, which featured additional activities and gave her the chance to earn her passes to the two above activities. Not to mention we also took some cute Insta-worthy photos at Our Street to Yours posing next to iconic scenes from the Sesame Street series. This cool exhibition is appearing for the first time ever in Asia!
