New month, new finds! This April, Minecraft fans can step into their favourite game with a brand-new, immersive experience at the Mandai Wildlife Reserve. Take the kids to a new outdoor playground at City Square Mall, and check out Karii for authentic Okinawan street food. Unwind after work with a game of pickleball at the newly opened courts ActiveSG Courts @ Farrer Park, and keep your eyes peeled for an exciting line-up of family activities all year long at the Great Eastern Promenade.

DSA 2026 Open Houses for secondary school admission

Planning ahead for secondary school? DSA Open Houses are back throughout the month of April and May 2026! Find out more about each school’s respective DSA programmes, and see whether the school’s overall environment, CCAs, culture and academic programmes are suitable for your family. You’ll also get to meet teachers and students while you’re there, so be sure to prepare any questions you might have!

Calling all fans of Minecraft! Save the date because Minecraft Experience: Village Rescuer will open its doors at the Mandai Wildlife Reserve from 24 April 2026. This immersive experience invites Minecrafters of all ages to journey through eight rooms in an effort to rescue a village from a zombie attack. Blending wildlife exploration with interactive play, large-scale projections and experiential storytelling, this is one experience you won’t want to miss. Whether you’re a long-time Minecraft fan or you’re just looking for a new way to bond with the kids, you’ll be in for a memorable adventure!

ActiveSG Courts @ Farrer Park: New pickleball courts

On the hunt for your next pickleball game? Sport Singapore has converted parts of the Little India Bus Terminal into pickleball courts. Run by ActiveSG, you can book your court online for just $4.50 per hour (non-peak) or $9.50 per hour (peak hours) for Singaporeans/PRs. Do note that ActiveSG Courts at Farrer Park is only available for bookings from Mondays to Saturdays only, and each person is only entitled to book two slots per day. These slots fill up quickly, so be sure to book early to avoid disappointment!
