Easter comes early this year (1 April), which in turn means early school holidays as well (10-18 March in local schools, and late March/early April at international schools). But don’t panic if you’re not yet sorted, mama — we’ve done the heavy lifting and rounded up the best holiday camps across all categories of fun for kiddos of all ages so you can ensure your littlies (and not-so-little-ones) can keep busy. Through fun games and activities led by passionate, experience teachers, students will cover such varied daily topics as “Dinosaurs”, “Superheroes” and “Save the World”, all the while improving their communication skills, grammar and vocabulary, and oral confidence.

Have you a got a future doctor on your hands, mama? “World of Medicine Camp”, held in March and April for kids aged 7-12, allows them to explore and dive into everything from anatomy and body systems, to bacteria and viruses, to first aid and apothecary (where they’ll make their own medicine!). Kids will also get to visit medical facilities as well as hear from practicing medical professionals. At “Market Place Camp” and “Shark Tank Jr. Camp”, mini moguls will learn through play about the skills and resources of entrepreneurship, from idea generation all the way through prototyping. Taught by Harvard Business School alumni, the camps will give kiddos the confidence to build their very own business or social change movement!

GEMS World Academy (Singapore)

Whether your kiddos are into coding, or they’re looking to keep their study skills sharp, you can be sure young minds will be buzzing at GEMS during the Easter break. In conjunction with Scholars Asia, there will be Computer Coding and Computer Game Design modules offered over the course of two weeks for kids between the ages of 12-16. Meanwhile, kids aged 6 – 15 can stay sharp with two different courses offered in collaboration with British Council Singapore: “English as an Additional Language” to help non-native English speakers boost their communication skills in a fun and social way, and “Academic and Leadership Skills”. Each British Council course is offered separately at the Primary and Secondary level.

This March, children can flex their creative muscles with STAGE Camp (for littlies aged 4 to 6) and THEATRE Stage (for kids 7 to 12). Young performers are encouraged to play, create and present their own stories over the course of these weeklong camps, all the while discovering the magic of theatre in bringing stories to life. At STAGE Camp, kiddos will have a royally fun time navigating the big wide world via drama, art and craft with a beautiful Nightingale, all under the guidance of UK actor and theatre teacher Joanna Pilgrim.
