Easter comes early this year (1 April), which in turn means early school holidays as well (10-18 March in local schools, and late March/early April at international schools). But don’t panic if you’re not yet sorted, mama — we’ve done the heavy lifting and rounded up the best holiday camps across all categories of fun for kiddos of all ages so you can ensure your littlies (and not-so-little-ones) can keep busy. For the past nine years this super popular multi-sport juggernaut has provided oodles of fun to kiddos ages 3-12. While playing sports and partaking in classic camp activities like arts & crafts, treasure hunts, and movie time, kiddos develop fundamental sports, social skills and even get to practise their language with Sport4Kids partner, Mandarin Art. Choose from ever-popular multi-sport and sport-specific camps for kids ages 3-10, while also squeezing in camp faves like cooking, arts & crafts, good old fashioned water fights and team-building games! Three-hour camps are held at Shaws’s super-convenient Kallang location.

With an award-winning curriculum for kids ages 4 to 16 years old, Coding Lab takes a cue from MIT and puts a strong emphasis on inquiry-based learning along with the application of key mathematical concepts. Kiddos can look forward to a variety of camps across three convenient locations this March and April, including Tinkering Garage (perfect for gadget-heads or anyone passionate about programming), and dual literacy x coding workshops where littles create their own digital stories based on classic storybooks. In addition to their popular March camps at their Bukit Timah and East Coast locations, the coding peeps at Saturday Kids will also be hosting a camp in Holland Village in conjunction with Singapore Design Week 2018. Kiddos will get to explore the heritage neighbourhood that will be transformed to an enclave of art installations, exhibitions and pop-ups – it’ll be an exciting week where coding meets design, so cool! Through fun games and activities led by passionate, experience teachers, students will cover such varied daily topics as “Dinosaurs”, “Superheroes” and “Save the World”, all the while improving their communication skills, grammar and vocabulary, and oral confidence.

Look out for some Egg-citing courses coming your way this Easter! The Language Boutique’s four-day English (for 6-to-7-year-olds) and Science (for 8-to-9-year-olds) camps are both designed to boost kiddos’ creativity to the max, whether they’re writing their own story and putting on a puppet show, or concocting Easter egg slime while recording and reflecting on their scientific method.
