What to do with shy kids who aren’t keen on sports camp? Abrakadoodle Art Camps!

There are so many holiday camps to choose from in Singapore – it’s crazy – and in particular so many are sport related! But what was I do to with two shy little 5-year-olds? Enter Abrakadoodle; it’s been around for over 15 years, and has three venues island-wide (Bukit Timah, Jurong and Marine Parade) offering classes, camps, parties and events.

Their 3-day art camp at their Bukit Timah Serene Centre location really appealed to me – as it’s in a smaller, cosier location so not too daunting for our little 5-year-old shybies.

The theme for this one was “Let’s go Camping!” Through a mix of art lessons, games, stories, music and activities, the girls had so much fun and created the most amazing masterpieces.

Esme Loved: Learning about fireflies and making them from clay!

Daisy Loved: Making a waterfall picture!

Mummies Loved: Seeing the girls present their work to parents at the end in the gallery – and the fab bag that they provide to take all the artwork home (5five amazing pieces to go on the wall!).

The teachers were so supportive and really brought the girls out of their shell – they left giggling and chatting about the things they had done and asking when they can go back.

I would highly recommend Abrakadoodle art camps, and I can’t wait for the next theme – beach party!
