Does your little one love storytime? Sign up for McDonald’s Happy Meal Readers storytelling sessions from 9 to 17 March. Sessions are free but there are limited slots so sign up now to secure your place!

Who’s ready for a story? Kiddos, get excited because McDonald’s has launched free storytelling sessions at 23 McDonald’s restaurants during the March school holidays from 9 to 17 March. These fun storytelling sessions are all about instilling a passion for books and reading in our little ones — a message everyone can fully get behind.

Happy Meal Readers free storytelling at McDonald’s

The theme is all about empowering kids to dream big so they think ‘I can…!’ Kids are invited to blast off on a space adventure with the Happy Meal Readers book ‘I Can Be an Astronaut’. We’ll be off on an adventure to the moon to discover what it takes to be an astronaut, including all the preparations needed before the epic launch! We’re sure little ones will be ready to be the next Neil Armstrong once they’ve heard this story.

This book is part of the ‘I Can’ series by Little People, Big Dreams children’s books, which introduces children to inspirational figures and dreamers from designers and artists to scientists and activists, each of whom has made a big impact in the world to show kids that they too can.

In case you didn’t know, McDonald’s Happy Meal offers the choice of a book as part of the Happy Meal Readers Programme to encourage kids to read. There’s still the choice of the toy too, but in our minds, you can never have enough books!
