Traditional Chinese restaurant 9Goubuli, with a 157-year long legacy in China of making their signature baozi (steamed bread-like dumpling buns with meat or veg fillings), has picked MBS on our little island as their first outpost. You can watch the master baozi chefs at work through a small window as they skillfully make the bun folds, closing them into a flower shape and laying them on the steamers. There’s something for everyone on the massive menu – steaming bowls of handmade noodles to delicious roast Peking duck, to weird and wonderful starters (Vinegar Marinated Jellyfish, Braised Ducks Tongue), to soup served in a teapot.
