NLB’s Big Book Giveaway is back this weekend, with thousands of pre-loved books and audio-visual items from its public library collections up for grabs, completely free!
You’ll have 10 minutes to browse and can take home up to 10 books, with plenty of genres to choose from, including non-fiction, educational titles and more.
Have books at home that could use a new reader? You can also bring up to 100 pre-loved books in good condition to give them a second life.
This year, visitors can also make a goodwill donation to MINDS, NLB’s adopted charity, while browsing and picking up their favourite reads.
