Ash & Elm at the InterContinental Singapore has been awarded the Michelin Plate Award for two consecutive years in 2018 and 2019, so we find out what makes this spot one to add to your list!
Classic Weekend brunch with free-flow Taittinger Brut Champagne
The food: Start off your leisurely brunch with appetisers such as a selection of premium cold cuts, cheeses and fresh bakes, before moving on to elevated offerings such as Kaluga Queen caviar and fresh sustainably-sourced seafood, including oysters, scallops, king crab and lobster. Signatures from the Charcoal Grill Kitchen (one of Ash & Elm’s three culinary theatres) are served on a sharing platter that’s perfect for grazing. Look forward to a spread of Spanish Duroc Pork Rack and Beer-braised Beef Short Ribs, alongside brunch favourites such as the Truffle Poached Eggs (yum!) and Virginia Ham and Grated Cheese Toast. Then finish your weekend meal off with an array of desserts like the Mini Apple Tatin, Red Velvet Cake, Macarons and Pralines! The dining experience is made indulgent with unlimited Taittinger Brut Champagne.
The drink: Of course, this wouldn’t really be a weekend brunch of clout if there wasn’t a free-flow Champagne option, and we are happy to report that Ash & Elm delivers on this front as well, proferring up Taittinger Brut Champagne to go along with wines and beers at $148++. The staff is impressively attentive and generous with the bubbles (always appreciated)!
