May has been a preschool educator and qualified Montessori Directress for over 25 years, and founded her own Montessori preschool in 1998. She later co-founded Leapfrogs, a private therapy center for children with special needs, and is now studying to become a board certified educational therapist with the International Association of Counselors and Therapists, USA.
