Beate Baldry

Beate spent her childhood in Kenya and adult life in the UK. She arrived in Singapore in 2009 purely in search of sunshine #truestory. Beate (pronounced Bay-ah-ta) was previously our Managing Editor (having started out as our original food columnist) until recently relocating back to the UK. A mama of two, she now freelances and when not chauffeuring her kids around you'll find her lusting over travel stories or experimenting in the kitchen.
