Get Ready for Some Monstrous Fun at The Arts House: Free Activities, 3D Art, Create Your Own Monster & More!

Have you ever been curious about the history of one of Singapore’s cultural gems, The Arts House? Believe it or not, this vibrant hub of exhibitions and performances was once the esteemed Old Parliament House! Built in 1827, this building bore witness to countless debates, discussions, and pivotal decisions that shaped Singapore we know today. This May, The Arts House will be hosting Monstrous Fun! which pays homage to its roots as Singapore’s oldest government building through a range of activities, from guided tours to free drop-in activities that promise fun for the whole family.

The Arts House Story Tour: Discover interesting facts about its history, people, and important events.
Workshops: Explore the world of 3D Rendering with Singaporean sculptor and Cultural Medallion recipient, Chong Fah Cheong. Suitable for participants aged 15 and above, this workshop lets you create your very own 3D-rendered sculpture using any material of your choice. They’ve got activities for the little ones too! At Modelling Expression with Artbeatz, kids aged 5 and above can unleash their creativity as they learn the art of sculpting and moulding to create their very own 3D masterpiece.
Free drop-in activities: Little ones can get to unleash their inner monster maker while learning about recycling at the Create Your Own Monster workshop, where they can create their own monster using everyday household materials. Families can also participate in the Monster Poetry Family Portrait Frame workshop, where they can create their own family portrait frame.
