Orchard Road Christmas Light-Up 2025: Street Party, Nightly Snowfall & Christmas Villages

This year, the Orchard Christmas light-up runs from 8 November 2025 to 1 January 2026 and features two Christmas Villages, nightly snowfall shows, multimedia projection mapping, a Christmas Eve street party and more!

The annual Orchard Christmas light-up, which is part of Christmas on A Great Street experience, is one of our red dot’s most popular Christmas events. Stretching from Tanglin Mall to Plaza Singapura, the 2025 edition of the Orchard Road Christmas light-up display promises to be a special affair with plenty of beautiful lights lighting up the streets of Orchard to get everyone in the festive mood!

This year’s lights will feature a celebratory SG60 theme. There will be two ‘Great’ Christmas Villages packed with fun rides, games and activities for the whole family, the iconic 14-metre-tall Mastercard Christmas tree, two nightly snowfall shows, photo ops, multimedia projection mapping at Hilton Singapore Orchard and ‘Music in the Air’ along the Orchard Road. The Orchard Christmas Eve street party also makes a return this year! The 2025 Orchard Christmas Light-Up kicks off on 8 November 2025 and runs until 1 January 2026. Orchard Christmas Light-Up 2025: SG60-themed photo ops

This year’s theme for ‘Christmas on A Great Street’ is all about SG60 celebrations! Keep a lookout for the adorable decorations featuring ‘Merli’, a Merlion mascot donning a Santa suit.

The light-up stretches over 3km from Tanglin Mall to Plaza Singapura, including Scotts Road, and you’ll spot lots of cute photo ops along the way, from the main arch in front of ION Orchard, to Shaw House Urban Plaza, Wisma Atria, Ngee Ann City and Mandarin Gallery. Snap lots of pics with the iconic dragon playground, Santa’s sleigh in trishaw form, a festive arch and a joyous wreath.

Great Christmas Villages: Carnival rides, inflatable playgrounds & more

The Great Christmas Village is making a comeback this year! There will be two magical Christmas Villages: one at Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza and another at Shaw House Urban Plaza.

Over at Ngee Ann City, there’ll be a Kiztopia Christmas Carnival with carnival booth games, a carousel, an inflatable castle, a Ferris wheel and more! Kids can also meet Santa at the Hitachi Santa House and snap lots of photos with Kiztopia character installations.

This is also where the Christmas market and snowfall shows (8pm and 9pm) will be held, with the 14-metre-tall Mastercard Christmas Tree as its centrepiece. Look forward to festive nosh and live performances on weekends.

Don’t miss out on the fun at Shaw House either! The Kiztopia Christmas Carnival also makes an appearance here with a train ride, trampolines, carnival games, claw machines and more.

Great Christmas Eve Street Party on 24 December 2025

The highly anticipated Great Christmas Eve Street Party will make a return this year, featuring live marching band performances, a mascot parade, push cards, food trucks and more. This year, festivities will stretch 400m from ION Orchard to Ngee Ann City, and there’ll also be an exciting countdown to Christmas!

Outdoor multimedia projection mapping & ‘Music in the Air’

The 2025 Orchard Road Christmas Light-Up multimedia projections will take place on the façade of Hilton Singapore Orchard, where you can look forward to a magical three-minute Christmas tale. On Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, it’ll even have a countdown clock!

And what’s Christmas without the sound of carols in the air? As you stroll along Orchard Road, you’ll be surrounded by the magic of Christmas, thanks to the classic holiday carols and pop Christmas hits playing along the street (from 10am – 7pm).
