Taking part in the Lunar New Year festivities doesn’t have to mean sacrificing your health with these gluten free and low sugar CNY goodies

Tiann’s Bakery

Over at gluten free Tiann’s Bakery in Tiong Bahru they have obsessively reinvented the pineapple tart to be gluten free and low sugar in line with their philosophy which also extends to meat that is free-range and free of hormones and antibiotics. If you want to know how much work they’ve put into these treats read about it here. For Lunar New Year their Pineapple Tarts ($68/box) are little balls of pineapple bliss just sweet enough yet not overly so, encased in organic brown rice pastry made with almonds, barn-laid eggs, AOP French butter and pink Himalayan salt. They also do sugar-free Date Tarts ($68/box) and organic Yu Sheng ($168) with smoked salmon (or vegan) fresh and fermented vegetables for extra health goodness.
