Looking for a paintball arena in Singapore? Whether you’re planning an adrenaline-packed birthday bash, a team-bonding session or simply a fun activity with teens, paintball is an exciting way to get moving in Singapore. From unique missions to multi-tiered battlegrounds, there’s something for everyone. And although there’s an age limit of 14 years old, younger kids can also get in on the fun, as many of these paintball arenas also host alternative lower-impact games such as gel ball, archery and laser tag.
What is paintball?
Paintball is an action-packed team sport where players try to eliminate or “tag” their opponents by shooting them with small paint-filled pellets (paintballs) using paintball markers, also known as paintball guns. It’s a go-to choice for corporate team-building sessions, birthday parties, and group outings, as it combines teamwork, strategy and action with a rush of adrenaline.
Is paintball painful?
First-time paintball players often wonder if paintball hurts. While paintball shots can sting on impact, the pain is kept minimal thanks to Singapore’s strict safety standards and the protective gear provided. Players are required to wear masks, vests and sometimes padded clothing, at all times.
Does paintball in Singapore have an age limit?
Paintball operators in Singapore are required to set a minimum age of 14 for standard paintball games, in line with the Singapore Police Force licensing requirements. Children under 18 require written parental consent to play the game. Several arenas may also provide “soft” or “low-impact” paintball sessions for younger players such as gel ball, using smaller markers and gentler pellets. However, age limits and requirements may vary depending on the venue, so it’s best to check directly with the operator before booking.
